If you are interested in reading more often this winter, but do not have time to read an entire book, then join the Croton Free Library’s Short Story Group.
Each week, they will read and discuss a different short story by a contemporary writer.

Westchester Breathes is online program of gentle movement, breathing, and relaxation exercises can reduce anxiety and increase a sense of calm and wellbeing. Learn simple, evidence-based techniques, and ready for the next moment from a place of calm and clarity. This program meets every Friday morning on Zoom until March 27, but can be joined at any time.

Join the Croton Free Library to celebrate the joy and wonder of African and African American folklore with Master Storyteller Donna Washington on Zoom. From creepy tales of the “soul-sucking Boo Hag” to the power of the “Leopard Woman.” This program is geared toward adults and teens. The call is free and open to all. Registration is required. Journaling with Seniors
Wednesdays, Staring February 23 | 12 PM – 1 PM
Croton Free Library, Ottinger Room
Journaling for Seniors is a new program for community seniors offered by the Croton Free Library. This free club offers older adults the chance to express themselves through writing, doodling, and more. No particular writing or art skills required. Supplies are provided. Offered in partnership with Croton Caring. Space is limited to 12 participants, so sign up today. This program is offered in partnership with Croton Caring & Croton Recreation.
