SMRA Public Program: Member’s Best & Holiday Desserts

Join us for this fun and informal event where members and friends of Saw Mill River Audubon share photographic highlights of their past year of birding and nature exploration, along with sharing holiday desserts. Let us know if you would like to share 2-5 of your best photographs at this event by emailing our office by December 10. Bring holiday cookies to share and exchange. (It is also very okay to come without desserts or photos!)

Join us for a fast-paced, light-hearted romp through the holidays with some of our favorite pop culture and global icons as portrayed by 27 children and teens. Project FeederWatch

Come ID and count birds at the bird feeders at Croton Point Nature Center with volunteers from Saw Mill River Audubon viewing the feeders from inside the Center. Beginners encouraged. Trails Committee Cleanup

Fire Department Candy Cane Run

Sunday, December 16 – 10 AM to 3 PM

The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department - in conjunction with the North Pole FD - has arranged for Santa Claus to visit the streets of Croton-on-Hudson on Sunday, December 16th from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM! Mug Cakes Teen/Tween Program

Wednesday, December 19 – 4 PM

Croton Free Library

Come spend an hour learning to make a tasty treat in our creative space. Mug cakes are easy and personal cakes that you can create in just 5 minutes! Participants will have a choice of 3 recipes: Cookies & Cream, Peppermint swirl (Gluten free), or Cinnamon Roll (vegan). Bring your own microwaveable mug (at least 8 ounces), so you can make one to eat and one to go! This workshop is for teens and tweens in grades 5th-12th. Registration Required.
