Applications Now Open - Entries Due by October 2nd
The Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce will once again host the Annual Croton-on-Hudson Scarecrow Contest! Entries by individuals, families, teams, schools, churches, clubs, organizations & businesses are welcome! The goal of this contest is to create a gallery of fun, inventive scarecrows throughout the Village. Entries are due by Monday, October 2nd, and winners will be announced Thursday, October 19th. Cub Scouts is open to all boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade and offers kids and their families the opportunity to participate in adventures related to nature, hiking, science, citizenship, leadership, and more! Saturday, September 23rd, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is pleased to announce that the 5th annual Village-Wide Tag Sale will be held on Saturday, September 23rd. There is a $10 registration fee per household to participate. No listings outside of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson please! A map will be published to highlight each residence that participates. New York Birders Conference
Gather with birders and birding leaders from across the Empire State—and birding friends from nearby Connecticut and northern New Jersey too—for a weekend celebrating the birds and birders of New York. Saw Mill River Audubon is the hosting organization for the 2023 New York Birders Conference / NYSOA Annual Meeting. Registration closes August 31. More information is available at www.nybirders.org.
