Choose from a variety of shiny plastic lanyard string to create an old-school camp lanyard for yourself or someone else. We'll teach you the box stitch and supply the string and keyrings! Croton Summer Concert Series - Peter Calo & Friends

Don’t miss the concert celebration of the Summer! Peter Calo & Friends will play rock favorites and celebrate 125 years of Croton-on-Hudson with music that is sure to make you dance. Food Truck options include pizza,gourmet wraps, and burritos. Due to the inclement weather forecasted on Friday, the concert has been moved to Saturday, August 5th.

Free Tutoring Sessions at the Library

Croton residents Linda Simon & Christine O'Connor, experienced English teachers & tutors, are offering free sessions in August for students! Get help with starting a college essay, editing a draft, or finishing up the final product. Free and available to any high-school senior! To reserve for these sessions, email lindasimon.ny@gmail.com. In-person sessions in the library are Aug 10 and Aug 24, 4-6 pm. Thirty-minute remote sessions are available on Aug 15 and 30 from 5-7 pm. Reservations are required for all sessions, and students can attend as many as they wish. Croton Free Library's website lists all sessions on its calendar.

125th Anniversary Boat Flotilla

The Croton community is invited to float down the Croton River at this year’s 125th Anniversary Boat Flotilla, a floating parade hosted by the Croton 125th Anniversary Committee. The floating parade will start at 11:00 AM. Boats will launch from Echo Canoe Launch, paddle up to Fireman's Island, turn around, and stop at Mayo's landing for a talk by Croton Historian Marc Cheshire about the flour and iron mills, the covered wooden bridge that once soared above the river and the Deep Hole below it, plus Prohibition-era raids on the Nordica Drive speakeasies and a few ghost stories. The flotilla will be led by the Croton Police Department Boat. A light lunch will be provided at the end of the paddle. Registration Required! Save the Date - Village-Wide Tag Sale

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is pleased to announce that the 5th annual Village-Wide Tag Sale will be held on Saturday, September 23rd. Registration begins Monday, July 17th and ends Friday, September 15th. There is a $10 registration fee per household to participate. No listings outside of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson please! A map will be published to highlight each residence that participates.
