Advisory: Flood Watch Saturday 3/23

A Flood Watch is in effect for our region from 8:00 AM March 23rd until 2:00 AM March 24th. Prolonged rainfall will occur Saturday into Saturday night, and may be heavy at times. A total of 2.5 to 3.5 inches of rain is forecast with locally higher amounts possible. There will be potential for flooding, which could linger into late Saturday night with for some area rivers and streams.

For commuters utilizing the Croton-Harmon Train Station, there is a possibility that flooding will impact the train station parking lot. Commuters are strongly advised to exercise caution and avoid parking spaces in Sections H and I, especially those in close proximity to the river. Flooding risks are higher in these areas, and taking preventive measures will help ensure the safety of your vehicles. Please review our train station parking lot map to see other sections which are available for use.
