2024-2025 Budget Adoption Message

Dear Neighbors:
Last night, the Board of Trustees was able to unanimously approve a budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25. Some highlights:
- A tax levy $133,276 below the property tax cap;
- A reduction in outstanding village debt by $1,007,428;
- Funding for a bilingual police officer position which will bring the department back to its 2009 staffing level;
- A part-time community liaison & communication assistant;
- Appropriations for an additional summer park ranger to help ensure the safety of the Croton River area; and
- A shuttle bus pilot program.

I am proud of the staff and Village Board working together to enact a budget that serves the residents and invests in our shared future.
