National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

This Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) event is conducted to encourage community members to properly dispose of unused medications. The medications are collected, secured and picked up by a DEA officer. The DEA then incinerates the medications. All at no cost to the community members. Over the years, they have collected 100s of pounds of unused prescriptions which gets this medication out of homes and keeps our community members and their families safe.
