Bird Commissioner Update:

From Cary Andrews: With the ice on the river, now is a good time to see eagles. In Croton Point Park one place is past the RV camp. At the cabins and beyond, they can be found roosting in some of the trees. They go for fish from the ice floes, and then come back to the trees to eat their catch. Please be respectful and not get too close.
Also, a part of winter birding is seeing ducks. From Teller's Point, buffleheads have been seen. Happy birding!
