Instructions for Purchasing a Train Station Parking Permit

Croton Harmon Train Station Parking Permits are sold quarterly.  Click Parking Permit Selling Schedule | Croton-on-Hudson NY (crotononhudson-ny.gov) to view the permit selling schedule. 

There are 3 types of quarterly parking permits for the train station – Resident, Non-Resident and Preferred.  Please click Parking Permit Rules & Regulations | Croton-on-Hudson NY (crotononhudson-ny.gov)  to review the parking permit rules and regulations before purchasing a permit. 

Instructions:

  1. Click  Village of Croton-on-Hudson, NY: Parking Permit Portal (crotononhudson-ny.gov) to open the parking permit portal page.
  2. Click on Register.  Then Sign Up - enter a valid email address, password, name, address and phone number.
  3. A message with a confirmation link will be sent to your email address.
  4. Click on confirm my account and then log in to access your account on the parking portal.
  5. Next, apply for a permit. Click on New Permits and choose a Permit Type from the drop down box – Resident, Non-Resident or Preferred.
  6. Click on Accept and Continue to agree to the terms and conditions.
  7. Next add the vehicle information - license plate number, make, model, state and color.  Click on add one more vehicle to register additional vehicles. You can add up to 4 vehicles to your account.  If you are applying for a resident parking permit, you must upload a copy of the current car registration with a valid Village of Croton address for each vehicle you list on your account.  
  8. After you have entered all the information, click on Submit Application.
  9. You will receive an email when your application is approved with a link to the log in page to complete your payment.
  10. After you log in, click on pay.  Select the permit, then click on make payment.
  11. Enter the credit card #, expiration date and CVV.  Please note, there is a convenience fee for a credit card payment. 
  12. Click on Pay Now.
  13. You will receive an email that your payment was processed and the permit has been issued.
