Croton Yacht Club Annual College Scholarship Fundraiser

The Croton Yacht Club is holding its annual College Scholarship fundraiser on Saturday, May 4th. The event will include an all you can eat pasta night, with various pasta dishes, salad, coffee and dessert. A silent auction and sales will be conducted during the evening as well as a 50-50 fund raising raffle. A donation of $25 for adults, $15 for teens is requested; children 12 and under are free. All net proceeds will go to the Croton Yacht Club College Scholarship Fund.
The mission of the scholarship grant is to promote studies in the marine, maritime, environmental science and/or environmental engineering fields; to cultivate future local environmental leaders and advocates; to develop future stewards of local marine resources and to enhance, promote and protect local river related recreational resources.
Since it’s inception in 2010, the Yacht Club has awarded over $20,000 in scholarship grants to Croton Harmon High School graduates pursuing undergraduate studies in the aforementioned fields.
