Village Statement on Disruptive Music

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson is aware of the disruptive music that has affected residents over the past several weeks, including during the early morning hours today.

The Croton-on-Hudson Police Department has been actively investigating the issue and working to identify the source of the music. It appears that the source is located outside Village boundaries, which has made enforcement and response efforts more challenging. In an effort to locate the source, the Police Department proactively patrolled the Hudson River by boat from 6 p.m. last evening until 2 a.m. today.

The Village has been coordinating with neighboring municipalities and Westchester County to identify and address the source of the disturbance. We understand the frustration this ongoing issue has caused and share the community’s concerns. The Village remains committed to working with our partners to resolve this quality-of-life issue as quickly as possible.
