Seasonal Parking Permit Applications Now Available

Residents without feasible off-street parking are eligible to obtain a permit.

As the winter season approaches, it’s important to be familiar with Village regulations and protocols regarding snow removal. While on-street parking is generally allowed during the winter, residents must remove their vehicles from the streets if two or more inches of snow have accumulated to allow the Department of Public Works (DPW) to clear the streets. Plowing will continue until the snow has stopped and the streets have been fully cleared.

For residents without off-street parking, seasonal on-street parking permits are available for use during winter storms. Permit applications are now available through our parking portal at parking.crotononhudson-ny.gov. Residents are encouraged to apply early to ensure permits are received before the first winter storm.

As a reminder, residents may park their vehicles in designated municipal lots during a storm without a permit. Vehicles must be removed from these lots within 12 hours of the end of the snowfall. These lots include:

  • Asbury Methodist Church
  • The lot behind Holy Name of Mary Church
  • The west end of Benedict Blvd.
  • The Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building

If you have any questions about seasonal parking or need assistance, please contact the Village office at 914-271-4781.
