Public Hearing Notices - Local Laws Introductory No. 8 and 9

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that resolutions have been adopted by the Board of Trustees, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, at a meeting on May 20, 2026 and May 27, 2026, respectively, to open PUBLIC HEARINGS on the following:

 

Public Hearing to consider Local Law Introductory No. 8 of 2026 to amend Chapter 197, Streets and Sidewalks, of the Village Code to update the provisions related to the prior notice of defects.

 

Public Hearing to consider Local Law Introductory No. 9 of 2026 to amend Chapter 99, Cannabis, of the Village Code to establish a temporary moratorium on cannabis dispensaries.

 

THEREFORE, pursuant to statute, the Board of Trustees, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, will hold PUBLIC HEARINGS on the above on Wednesday, June 17th at 7:00 p.m., in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, 1 Van Wyck Street, Croton-on-Hudson, at which time all interested parties will be heard.

 

The meeting will also be broadcast live on www.crotononhudson-ny.gov and Cable Channel 78.
