Family Entertainment: Bubble Show Plus

Location: Vassallo Park

Enjoy an evening of giant bubbles and interactive family fun at Vassallo Park which is free and open to the public. The Croton Recreation website will announce weather cancellations or location changes by 2:00 pm.

Summer Concert: Aquarius

Date: Friday, July 10, 2026

Time: 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Location: Senasqua Park

Enjoy an evening of live music! Food from Paradise Taquera and drinks from the Croton Grille will be available for purchase. This concert is free and open to the public. For shuttle information and weather cancellations visit the Croton Recreation website.

Trail Work Day

Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026

Time: 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Location: Croton Arboretum

Help maintain Croton's trail system with the Conservation Advisory Council's Trails Subcommittee. Meet at the Arboretum at 9:00 am. Wear sturdy boots and bring work gloves and loppers if you have them. Volunteers will be working on the Highland Trail.

Encaustic Painting Demonstration

Learn about encaustic painting during a live demonstration of techniques using hot wax medium. This is a demonstration only, not a hands-on workshop. Handouts with a supply list, tips, and additional resources will be provided.

Croton River Community Paddle
Date: Saturday, July 18, 2026
Time: 10:00 am -12:30 pm
Location: Echo Canoe Launch (Train Station Parking Lot)

Bring your kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board and join a community paddle on the Croton River. Paddlers will travel together upriver and enjoy a river talk with local historians Scott Craven and Village Historian Marc Cheshire, followed by light refreshments on shore. This event is free and open to the public.
