Croton River Community Paddle Flotilla

Location: Echo Canoe Launch (Train Station Parking Lot)
Bring your kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board and join a community paddle on the beautiful Croton River. Paddlers will travel together upriver and enjoy a river talk with local historians Scott Craven and Village Historian Marc Cheshire, followed by light refreshments on shore. This event is free and open to the public. To get an idea on participants please register here.

Croton Lions Annual BBQ

Enjoy a community barbecue at Senasqua Park featuring food prepared by the Croton Colonial Diner, plus door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Attendees are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program and donate used eyeglasses for recycling. RSVP is requested. Suggested donation is $10 per adult; children under 12 are free. The event is rain or shine.

National Night Out - Family Event

Recreation Charter Bus Trip: FDR National Historic Site & Library - Registration closes July 31, 2026

Location: Departs from ShopRite
Join the Recreation Department and travel to Hyde Park for a guided tour of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum with Village Trustee Len Simon, followed by a visit to Springwood, FDR's lifelong home. Lunch will be available at the Eveready Diner (paid individually). Transportation is provided by coach bus. This trip is open to adults ages 60 and older. Register here.
