ADVISORY: 10/4 Tree Work on Mount Airy Road and Riverview Trail

Con Edison has identified a large tree at the intersection of Mount Airy Road and Riverview Trail as a hazard to their infrastructure. In order to improve safety and reduce storm-related outages, a Con Edison contractor will be removing the tree this week. 

 

This work is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023. A large crane will be needed to remove the tree. One lane of traffic will be directed through the area during removal. Traffic delays should be expected during this time. Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible. 

 

In an effort to ease congestion in the area, the gate on Upper North Highland will be open throughout the day. The gate will be closed again once the work has been completed.
