When do I need a building or demolition permit?

Call the Village Engineer's office anytime you plan construction.

• Building permits are required for repairs not considered "ordinary repairs." Permit fees are based on construction cost; the minimum fee is $175.00. For the most current fee schedule see Engineer Master Fees 2018 -19.
  Demolition permits are required for any demolition project. Call the Village Engineer's of office for information.
• Building Permit Applications, and all other related applications, are available at the Village Engineer's Office or in a downloadable PDF format in the Engineering Department.
