Electronic Equipment Recycling

The Village of Croton on Hudson Is now recycling Cathode Ray tubes (i.e. televisions and computer monitors) and electronic equipment.

Due to the lead content in TV tubes and computer monitors, they have been classified as “non-processable waste” and are no longer wanted in the Charles Point Resource Recovery waste stream.

Beginning immediately CRT’s and electronic equipment will not be collected in the garbage. Call the Croton on Hudson DPW at 271-3775 to schedule collection of your electronic equipment and CRT’s, on Wednesdays, by appointment only.
