PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that resolutions have been adopted by the Board of Trustees, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, at a meeting on January 21, 2026 to open PUBLIC HEARINGS on the following:

 

Public Hearing to consider Local Law Introductory No. 1 of 2026 to authorize an override of the "property tax cap" enacted by the State Legislature if necessary.

 

Public Hearing to consider Local Law Introductory No. 2 of 2026 to add Chapter 9, Auditor, Village, to the Village Code.

 

THEREFORE, pursuant to statute, the Board of Trustees, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, will hold PUBLIC HEARINGS on the above on Wednesday, February 4th at 7:00 p.m., in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, 1 Van Wyck Street, Croton-on-Hudson, at which time all interested parties will be heard.

 

The meeting will also be broadcast live on www.crotononhudson-ny.gov and Cable Channel 78.
