Narrative: Patrol responded to the area of Beekman Avenue for a medical alert alarm. Croton EMS also responded. Alarm was set off in error.

Narrative: A resident of the Village came into Police Headquarters to report that his vehicle was stolen. A report was filed and investigation is being conducted.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a business on Maple Street where someone had dialed 911. Patrol reports nobody was at the business and nobody was in distress in the area.

Narrative: A caller reported a door to a business on South Riverside Avenue was unlocked and she was able to enter the business, which at that point had been closed for the day. Patrol responded. Patrol was able to contact the manager of the business who responded and secured the building.

Narrative: A resident of Bari Manor called to report that she received a delivery notification for items she ordered. The resident reports she never actually received the items. A police report was filed and the resident was able to contact the company’s customer service.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the area of Wells Avenue on a report of an individual soliciting without a permit. Patrols checked the area but could not locate the solicitor.

Narrative: Caller reported that vehicles are parking on Thompson Avenue near PVC School in the afternoon to pick up their children from the school at dismissal time. The vehicles are blocking driveways and making it difficult for other cars to pass through. Patrols to check on the location at dismissal times.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the Croton Harmon Train Station on a report of a train arriving with a person on board having a medical issue. Upon arrival, patrols determined that the individual had gotten off the train prior to arrival in Croton.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a residence on Lounsbury Road to assist a motorist who had locked her keys inside her vehicle.

Narrative: A resident of Oneida Avenue reported a low hanging wire. Patrols responded to the area and report the wire is low but not in traffic at this time. Resident is contacting the cable company.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the area of Grand Street on a report of children playing on recently laid pavement. The youths had left the area upon patrol arrival.

Narrative: A resident of Cleveland Drive reported a solicitor came to her house, and when she asked him for a business card he didn’t have one and left. Patrols responded to the area but could not locate the individual.

Narrative: A resident of Wolf Road reported an individual soliciting without a permit. Patrols responded and located the individual, spoke to the individual’s supervisor, and warned/advised them of the Village ordinance requiring a permit.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the Duck Pond Park on a report of a person sleeping on a bench. Patrol checked on the individual who said he did not need help and was just resting.

Narrative: A resident called to report seeing a youth outside her residence. When the youth left she went outside and noticed her shovel was missing. Patrol responded and interviewed the caller. Patrol reports shovel may not be stolen but misplaced on the property at this time.

Narrative: A caller reported losing her phone in the area of Cleveland Drive. Patrols were unable to locate the phone. Caller called back to report finding her phone.

Narrative: A caller reported being followed from Tarrytown to Glengary Road by a black Infiniti vehicle. Patrols responded to the area and located the vehicle involved in the area of Glengary Road. Patrols report vehicle was occupied by private investigators on an assignment.

Narrative: Patrol responded to a business on South Riverside Avenue on a report of an attempted larceny of merchandise that just occurred. Patrols did not locate the suspect involved. Investigation is being conducted.

Narrative: A caller reported that there was a traffic issue on Maple Street in the area of the PVC school steps due to the construction in that area. Caller reported that there were no flaggers and it was hard to pass through. Patrols responded and reports that all traffic was in order and there were no issues.

Narrative: A caller, who works for a house cleaning services, reported being harassed by her boss while at a house she cleans in the area of Nordica Drive. Patrols responded to the scene as well as a Spanish-speaking officer from the Village of Ossining Police. Croton EMS was also contacted and responded to the scene and transported the caller to the hospital. Investigation is being conducted.

Narrative: Patrols responded to South Riverside Avenue on a report of a male who had fallen off a scooter. EMS was also contacted and responded. The male was transported by the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps to the hospital.

Narrative: A caller requested patrols to respond to her residence in the area of Penfield Avenue to check on a squirrel that was next to her daughter’s vehicle. Caller was not sure if the squirrel was dead or sick. Patrols responded and confirmed squirrel had passed away.

Narrative: Westchester County Police requested Croton Police respond to the top of the Croton Dam on a report of a suicidal male that may be at that location. Patrols responded but could not locate the individual involved. Westchester County Police called back shortly after and reported locating that individual at his residence outside of Croton.

Narrative: A resident called to report having an incident with the mother of one of her son’s friends. Juveniles are involved and the resident caller will follow up with other appropriate contacts at this time.

Narrative: Patrols responded to a residence on Glengary Road due to an activated burglar alarm. Patrols encountered an individual on scene who was not the resident. Patrols were able to identify the individual and speak with the resident homeowner who has given permission for the individual involved to be at the residence.

Narrative: Patrol responded to the parking lot of the Croton Commons on a report of several youths on skateboards and in a vehicle acting disorderly. Patrols report interviewing three youths who left the area without incident.

Narrative: Westchester County Police requested assistance with a child that is injured in the Croton Point Park. Patrols responded to the area. Croton EMS also responded and transported the child to the hospital. Westchester County Police were also on scene.

Narrative: A resident of Bari Manor reported being the victim of possible fraud. Investigation to be conducted.

Narrative: Patrols responded to a residence in the area of Mount Airy Road for a domestic dispute. After conducting an investigation, patrols arrested a 30-year-old resident of The Bronx for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Attempted Assault in the 3rd Degree. The defendant was arraigned in front of the Croton Village Justice and was released on his own recognizance.

Narrative: A caller reported hearing very loud music coming from Mayo’s Landing. Patrols and Park Rangers checked the area but could not locate any loud music.

Narrative: Patrols responded to a business on Veterans Plaza for an alarm activation. Patrols checked the business and reported that all appeared secure.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the BP Gas Station on Croton Point Avenue on a report of a male on the ground in the parking lot. Patrols arrived and requested EMS response. Croton EMS responded to the scene. While being treated, the male physically assaulted the paramedic on scene. Male was transported to the hospital with a patrol officer on board. Upon release from the hospital, the 50-year-old resident of Montrose was charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree. The defendant was arraigned in front of the Associate Village Justice and was released on cash bail.

Narrative: A caller reported a vehicle weaving in and out of traffic on Route 9. The caller said the vehicle exited at Municipal Place. Patrols checked the area but could not locate the vehicle.

Narrative: Several callers reported sewage coming from a manhole cover in the street on Young Avenue. Patrols responded and confirmed the condition. Department of Public Works was contacted and responded to handle the situation.
