Narrative: Patrols responded to Route 9 South for a report of a disabled vehicle. The vehicle was gone on arrival.

Narrative: Patrols stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense on Benedict Boulevard. While interviewing the operator, he stated that he was "going to end it all." The operator was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital by Croton EMS for a psychiatric evaluation.

Narrative: While traveling back to Croton from a previous call, patrols discovered a smoke filled vehicle with the operator still inside. Patrols stopped to help the operator exit the vehicle and turned the scene over to the Ossining Police.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of the Hudson River for a report of a possible vessel in distress. Westchester County Police Marine Unit and Croton Fire also responded. No distressed vessels were located and it is believed that the signal was just a reflection.

Narrative: Croton Police Department and the Croton Rotary Club took part in the DEA Drug Take Back Day. 11 boxes, weighing approximately 268 lbs, of assorted prescription medications were collected at Croton Commons and turned over to members of the DEA for destruction.

Narrative: Patrols responded to the area of Glengary Road for two suspicious individuals that possibly misrepresented themselves as photographers for an event. The individuals spent five minutes inside of the building before leaving. WCPD responded with an explosive detection canine to check the building. Building checked negative for explosives.

Narrative: Caller reported a black Honda Pilot stopped at the intersection of Grand Street and Old Post Road South with two occupants who appear to be asleep in the car. Patrols responded and woke up the driver who did not appear to be intoxicated; occupants fell asleep on their way home. Patrol contacted the driver's son who responded to the scene and drove his parents home.

Narrative: Caller reported she was a victim of a gift card scam. Caller stated she received a message on her computer stating that she was hacked and the hackers were going to steal money from her bank account. Caller reported then receiving a phone call requesting the caller to purchase gift cards to stop the hackers from stealing the money.
