The Village of Croton-on-Hudson will host its 35th Annual Summerfest street festival on Sunday, June 4th, 2023. A time-honored Village tradition, Summerfest is all about food, family fun, and celebration!

The fun will kick off with a parade down Old Post Road South, starting at Veterans Corners and moving to the Dummy Light on Grand Street. Over 30 local groups will be participating in this year's parade, which features a special homage to the Village's 125th Anniversary. Expect antique cars, floats, music, bagpipes, mascots, puppets, and more! This year's distinguished Grand Marshal is Bill McCabe, President of Croton EMS. A map of the parade route is available here - the parade will begin at 12:45 PM.

From 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the streets of the Upper Village (Grand Street/Old Post Road South) will be filled with live music, entertainment, delicious food & OVER 100 street vendors. This year, expect more food options than ever - BBQ, tacos, empanadas, bao buns, wraps, wings, lobster rolls, mac and cheese, burgers, craft beverages, cakes, pies, Italian ice, and more! There will be two stages featuring live music from The Blue Chips, Harmony Road, and Dos Belos. Games and activities will include face painting, sand art, a piñata bash, a pie eating contest, and interactive tours of Village fire trucks and construction vehicles. Community volunteer groups and service organizations will also be present to hand out information about their organizations and upcoming events.

In conjunction with this event, there will be parking restrictions and traffic closures that residents should take into consideration. The following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking and closed to vehicle traffic on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM:

  • Grand Street from Old Post Road North to Mount Airy Road
  • Old Post Road South from Grand Street to Maple Street

The following streets will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from Noon to 1:00 PM for the Summerfest Parade:

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes to avoid delays.
