Text Messages Purporting to be from the Fire Department are a Scam

Please read this important message from the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department:
If you see a message like this one, please know it is a scam. The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department isn’t currently selling any shirts or other apparel.
The only current items you may see from us are our recent “Fund Drive” letters in the mail, or you may have seen our members selling our “Big Bucks” raffle tickets.
If someone tries to sell you something on our behalf and it seems “sketchy,” please feel free to ask that person for some ID, or contact us at (914) 271-2693 or info@crotonfd.org.
