Croton-Harmon High School Graduation Parade - June 25

This email is being shared by the Village as it represents an issue of potentially broad interest to the community.

On Thursday, June 25, the senior class of Croton-Harmon High School (CHHS) will have a very special, first-of-its-kind graduation event. To honor our graduates, the CHHS PTSA Graduation Parade Committee is coordinating a parade through the village after graduation. We would like your help to make the Class of 2020 feel appreciated, celebrated, and supported. The end-of-year events are different this year, but they are sure to be memorable!

Following their socially-distant car graduation” at Croton Point Park, our resilient, upbeat graduates and their families will leave the park at approximately 6:00 PM in a procession of their cars and drive through part of the village. You can see the route theyll follow here.

Their cars will be decorated and filled with happy grads in caps and gowns! Please show your support by stepping outside at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 25 and making some noise when they drive by – cheering, clapping, and pot-banging are all encouraged and appreciated, as are congratulatory signs! (Please remember to follow guidelines for social distancing and face covering.)

We are grateful to live in the warm, engaged community of Croton, and excited to invite the entire village to be part of this milestone for our high school seniors. Please join us on June 25 as we give the CHHS Class of 2020 a proper send-off!

Thank you,

CHHS PTSA Graduation Parade Committee
