Croton Trails Crew

The Croton Trails Crew was originally established in 1992 as a sub-committee of the Croton Conservation Advisory Council. After becoming a standalone committee a few years later, the Trails Committee inventoried open space for a potential a trail system, identified existing, potential and connecting trails, trail linkages, and explored other trail concepts within a master plan. In 2022, the committee returned to its status as a sub-committee. 

The group now helps to maintain the Jan Wines Memorial Trail System, named in honor of the first chair of the committee, who served from 1992 to 2018. The Trails Crew makes an effort to meet every second Saturday to clean-up targeted sections of the trail system.
