Business Development Committee

The Comprehensive Plan Committee was appointed in 1999 to develop the plan which took over four years to complete. On January 21, 2003, the Village Board of Trustees adopted the Comprehensive Plan. The plan reflects public input (from workshops and a residential survey) as well as good planning principles. The committee was reconstituted in 2015 as the Village undertook efforts to revise the Comprehensive Plan. On July 10, 2017, the Village Board of Trustees adopted the revised Comprehensive Plan. 

Now known as the Business Development Committee, the committee works on ways to foster economic development through zoning changes and other initiatives within the Village.
