On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York:
WHEREAS, Nextel of New York, Inc. and New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC have applied for a special permit to construct a collocation of personal wireless services facilities at Veterans Plaza; and
WHEREAS, this matter has been referred to the Planning Board for its recommendation and review; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees must consider the environmental impacts in accordance with SEQRA of the installation of the personal wireless services facility at Gateway Plaza; and
WHEREAS, on April 3, 2006 the Village Board authorized the circulation of the Environmental Assessment Form and Coastal Assessment Form to all involved and interested agencies; and.
WHEREAS, no agencies have come forth to serve as lead agency,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees declares itself lead agency for the purpose of conducting a coordinated environmental review of the proposed installation of the personal wireless services facility at Gateway Plaza.
