Information for Daily Parkers
INFORMATION FOR DAILY PARKERS

The construction project to ameliorate the flooding conditions at the Croton-Harmon Train Station parking lot began on May 4, 2009.    

The contractor began Phase 2 of the construction project on Monday, July 20th.

At present, a section of Veterans Plaza remains closed to all traffic.  Detours are available.  Please follow signs and follow instructions of traffic enforcement personnel.


Phase 3 of the Construction Project - October 26, 2009 - gravel field closed to commuter parking

During this phase of construction if a Daily customer cannot find a numbered space in section F he must go into the Daily parking building before parking elsewhere to purchase a daily parking permit.  This permit must be displayed on your dashboard.

Alternate Parking

  • New available lot west of Lot A (24 spaces available)
  • On the south side of Croton Point Avenue between the northbound exit ramp and South Riverside Avenue
  • On both sides of South Riverside Avenue (south of Croton Point Avenue – this area will be striped showing the available spaces)
  • Field at Van Cortlandt manor - accessed through the Shop Rite parking lot

Shuttle Bus Service

J&R Tours will be providing shuttle bus service from the Van Cortlandt Manor Field and from South Riverside Avenue in front of  ET Cycle across from Shoprite and Croton Point Park.  The hours of operation will be 7:00 am to 10:00 am in the mornings and 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the evenings.

Amtrak and Overnight Parking

If you are an Amtrak or need to park overnight you must stop at the daily parking building for directions as to where to park.
