The procedure for disputing parking tickets are as follows:
If you wish to have a parking trial, circle the two words "not guilty" at the bottom of the parking ticket and mail it back to the Court with your current address. No appearance is necessary on the appearance date. You will then be notified by the Court of your trial date.
If you wish to "plead guilty with an explanation," you must come to the Court Clerk's office at 10:30 AM on either the following Wednesday or the appearance date noted on the ticket.
Parking violations cannot be disputed by mail. A court appearance is necessary should you wish to not pay the fine.
